Rachel Garcia wears the No. 0.
On Friday, the UCLA pitcher made sure the Nebraska run total on the scoreboard matched it.
Garcia pitched a complete game, striking out 11 while holding the Husker softball team to two hits in a 5-0 win for the No. 3 Bruins in the Mary Nutter Classic in Cathedral City, California.
Garcia, who entered the game with a 0.61 earned-run average, threw 95 pitches, and 71 of those were for strikes. Lexey Kneib and Kaylan Jablonski recorded the Huskers' only hits.
Aaliyah Jordan hit a two-run homer for the Bruins (11-0) in the third inning.
