RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State quarterback Ryan Finley arrived for an interview at 1:22 p.m. because that’s when he said he’d be there: at 1:22, not 1:20 or 1:25. And he brought along a teammate, center Garrett Bradbury, because “I just want to make sure that it doesn’t get to a point where it’s all about me,” he said. “It’s about the team, our whole team getting recognition.
