The bowl eligibility picture with two weeks left in the college football season

The picture for teams chasing bowl eligibility got clearer this weekend.

Kansas State, Texas, Arizona State, Boston College and Oregon are among the teams that won their into the field. Nebraska, Arkansas, Maryland, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and Syracuse are part of a group that lost for a seventh time.

The 39 bowl games this season require 78 teams to reach the threshold of six wins. Currently, 70 of the 128 teams eligible for the postseason have reached the threshold. There are 36 teams eliminated at this point with seven losses.

That leaves 22 teams still with an opportunity to win their way in.
