Miami Dolphins wide receivers coach Karl Dorrell has reportedly emerged as the favorite to land the head coaching job at the University of Colorado.
According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, no deal is done yet, but multiple other coaches who were in the running for the Colorado job have been told they won't get it.
The position became vacant Feb. 12 when Mel Tucker left to take the job at Michigan State following the retirement of Mark Dantonio.
