N.B.A. Draft 2018: What to Expect in Round 1 and Live Updates

The 2018 N.B.A draft may be the most unpredictable in several years, with every pick outside of Phoenix at No. 1 — widely expected to be Arizona’s Deandre Ayton — up for grabs.

As New York Times reporter Marc Stein said in his newsletter this week, “It’s no exaggeration to say that the rest of the lottery is in flux.”

The broadcast of the draft will start at 7 p.m. Eastern, with the picks to begin shortly thereafter. The draft consists of two rounds with 30 picks in each round.
