Iconic Rose Bowl Stadium has a new gig for July: Drive-in theater

You’ll need a bigger bowl.

OK, actually, they don’t come much bigger than the Rose Bowl, and if you’re looking for something to do during the pandemic, seeing classic movies drive-in style at the site of the Granddaddy of Them All this summer might be just the ticket.

The summer drive-in lineup at Pasadena’s iconic Rose Bowl Stadium, in conjunction with Tribeca Films, begins July 2, with Steven Spielberg’s shark-hunting thriller “Jaws.” The following night, it's another from the Spielberg library: “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial."

There’s something for everyone on the schedule, from family to action and adventure, through the month of July.
