Sources: Rajon Rondo plans to rejoin Los Angeles Lakers on 1-year deal worth $2.6M

Rajon Rondo plans to sign a one-year, $2.6 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers upon clearing waivers Monday, sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Rondo, who agreed to a contract buyout with Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday, will still make his full $7.5 million salary this season between the buyout and his new deal with the Lakers.

He is expected to sign the contract on Tuesday, sources tell Wojnarowski.

Rondo, 35, was traded from the LA Clippers to the Grizzlies earlier this month as a part of the Eric Bledsoe deal.
