The Montreal Canadiens are making it clear what the emphasis is for the 2019 NHL Draft. After moving their second of two second-round picks, they started the third round selecting Mattias Norlinder hitting Europe for the time of Day Two.
As all Habs prospects and draft selections have been lately, Norlinder is a great skater and his best asset is his vision and ability to break the puck out of the defensive zone with possession. His movement allows him to evade the opposition who is trying to rush at him and force a turnover but one of his better qualities is the quality of his first pass out of the defensive end.
