The Rookie Tournament was fun, the Red vs. White squad game was a blast, but now things for the Montreal Canadiens are about to get semi-serious. The preseason isn’t the regular season; however, it is still a stage for the Habs to evaluate who and what they have – for example budding NHL forward Nick Suzuki – heading into the new year. And sometimes what happens in the preseason can be a precursor for the rest of the season.
The Habs will be welcoming the New Jersey Devils to the Bell Centre tonight. Max Domi is back at centre in between Artturi Lehkonen and Jonathan Drouin while Victor Mete and Shea Weber will see to the top pair.
