UFC planning return to Dublin later this year

The UFC is planning to make its fourth trip to Dublin, Ireland in 2018.

Multiple sources have confirmed that the event will take place on Sunday, May 27, MMA Fighting has learned.

The event will take place at the 3 Arena, the same venue that hosted the promotion’s three previous visits to the Irish capital.

The UFC last came to Dublin in October 2015. The event, UFC Fight Night 76, was scheduled to be headlined by Joseph Duffy and Dustin Poirier, but the Irish lightweight was forced from the card when it was discovered that he sustained a concussion in a sparring session in the lead up to the event.
