The Czech fighter took home an extra $100,000 — $50,000 for “Performance of the Night” and $50,000 for “Fight of the Night” — for his third-round knockout of Khalil Rountree in a featured light heavyweight contest at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night. After Rountree banked the first two rounds on the scorecards, “BJP” made a furious rally in Round 3 behind pressure and unorthodox offense, putting his adversary away at the 3:04 mark of the period. It wasn’t all bad news for Rountree, who also received $50,000 for his part in the evening’s top fight.
