Jan Blachowicz adamant he’s ‘not a quitter, not a coward’ following UFC 267 title loss

Jan Blachowicz’ heart might have come into question after some fans feel the Polish knockout artist was too quick to tap in his submission defeat to Glover Teixeira in their rather anticlimactic light heavyweight title bout at UFC 267.

Blachowicz, 38, acknowledges that it wasn’t his best performance inside the octagon on Saturday but is adamant that he didn’t quit against Teixeira after succumbing to a rear-naked choke in the second round.

“My performance today was horrible,” Blachowicz said at the UFC 267 post-fight press conference (via MMA Fighting). “I don’t know. I wasn’t champion today, he was.
