‘Good fight, but you dodged me, kid’ - Feguson has a message for Poirier after Conor McGregor win

Following Dustin Poirier’s impressive win against Conor McGregor at UFC 257, Tony Ferguson wanted to make sure ‘The Diamond’ forgotten about “dodging” him.

Both former interim champions, Poirier and Ferguson were targeted to fight at UFC 254 last October. The fight fell through when Poirier withdrew due to failed negotiations with the UFC.

“I just need to be compensated if they want this fight,” Poirier said of the failed matchup with Ferguson. “Simple as that. I’m a prize fighter and the prize needs to be right,”

Ferguson, 36, went on to face Charles Oliveira at UFC 256 losing by unanimous decision, making it his second defeat on the bounce.
