Former UFC champ Garbrandt suffering from long term COVID effects: ‘Blood clots, pneumonia, and mental fog’

Cody Garbrandt has revealed that since recovering from COVID in September he has been suffering with some serious health issues, such as “blood clots, pneumonia and mental fog”.

Garbrandt (12-3) was supposed to fight Deiveson Figueiredo in the main event of UFC 255 this past weekend. The former bantamweight champion pulled out of the fight due to a bicep tear, and he later revealed that he also tested positive for in late August. Getting rid of the virus might have been simple for “No Love”, but it seems he now suffering from more serious complications.

“Disclaimer from my last post, I was positive for COVID Aug 29th,” Garbrandt wrote in an Instagram Story.
