The final word on the future of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA career might finally come later this month, UFC president Dana White said Saturday.
After teasing an announcement during the broadcast of UFC Fight Island 7 on Saturday but delivering not-that-definite news, White spoke with the media at the UFC Fight Island 7 post-fight press conference in Abu Dhabi that he will meet again with the lightweight champion after UFC 257, which is scheduled for Jan. 23.
Nurmagomedov will leave Abu Dhabi after cornering a teammate at Wednesday’s Fight Night show, White said, and fly straight to Las Vegas.
