Brian Ortega wants to ‘run it back’ with Max Holloway after UFC 266

Brian Ortega isn’t looking past Alexander Volkanovski, but ‘T-City’ admits that he is desperate to avenge his TKO loss to former featherweight champion Max Holloway.

If Ortega can supplant Volkanovski to capture the featherweight title at UFC 266 this weekend, the 30-year-old submission specialist says a rematch with ‘Blessed’ would be ‘ideal.’

“That would be ideal,” Ortega told TMZ Sports ahead of his fight against reigning featherweight champ Volkanovski at UFC 266 (h/t MMA Fighting). “I’m not trying to speak ahead or get past Volkanovski because he beat Max twice, so I’m not here to already start celebrating but that would be ideal.
