Belal Muhammad Reacts to Loss in UFC Qatar Co-Headliner

The journey isn’t over for Belal Muhammad.

The former welterweight champion suffered his second consecutive defeat in the UFC Qatar co-main event, falling to Ian Garry via unanimous decision at ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar, on Saturday. “Remember the Name” compiled an 11-fight unbeaten streak from 2019 to 2024 but has endured a difficult 2025, losing his belt to Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 315 in May before coming up short against Garry.

‘We Couldn’t Get It Done’

Muhammad acknowledged that he has “work to do” in a brief statement released via social media on Sunday.
