Save for the New York Yankees, that is.
The Yankees were strongly linked to Bumgarner ahead of the 2019 trade deadline, and it's now apparent they haven't forgotten about the four-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion.
"He's been a tremendous player for a long time," Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said of Bumgarner, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle.
