MU's Bryant gets support from other Tigers

COLUMBIA, MO. • Thirty minutes after Missouri’s Black and Gold spring game on Saturday, reporters began to stir in the lobby of the team facility, wondering why the day’s biggest star hadn’t shown up for interviews. Kelly Bryant was nowhere to be found. Was the transfer from Clemson already ditching the local scribes? That would be out of character. Maybe he got lost in the Memorial Stadium construction site? Also unlikely.

It turns out, the Tigers’ starting quarterback had a worthy alibi. Five special guests, also Tigers but a different breed, had traveled 800 miles to visit with their former teammate.
