Is Chase Daniel the new Chicago Bears starting quarterback?

It’s been a question for much of this season — should the Chicago Bears turn to backup quarterback Chase Daniel as their new starter and replace Mitchell Trubisky? Sunday’s prime time game against the Los Angeles Rams didn’t provide an answer, but it kept the question going.

In the Bears’ 17-7 loss to the Rams, coach Matt Nagy decided to put Daniel in with less than 4 minutes to play in place of Trubisky. At the time, people began to question just why. NBA cameras caught Nagy having a discussion with the starter on the sideline before Daniel stepped onto the field.
