Step aside, basketball, because college baseball is almost here, and it could not be more exciting at Missouri State University.
The Bears had a strong season last year, which included head coach Joey Hawkins’s first campaign, a win against the No. 2 nationally ranked Arkansas Razorbacks, a second-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference, and a conference championship game appearance in which the Bears fell to the Murray State Racers. The loss in the finale resulted in a heartbreaking end to Missouri State’s time in the Missouri Valley Conference.
However, the Bears could not stay heartbroken for long, as they had to regroup and prepare for Conference USA.
