As she was a college superstar in Starkville, Teaira McCowan continues to make her presence felt in Indiana.
At 6-foot-7 McCowan is an imposing center who excels at crashing the boards on both ends of the floor. She is averaging 10.6 points and 8.9 rebounds as a member of the Fever. Look for McCowan to see more minutes and likely average a double-double going forward.
Though Indiana has had a rocky start to the season, expect her to get the Fever back on track sooner rather than later. In addition to her play, McCowan is a true leader.
