Ole Miss wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow won’t be invited to the NFL Scouting Combine because of off-field issues.
Stringfellow is a California native who played two seasons at Ole Miss before turning pro a year early. He played his freshman season at Washington but was dismissed from school after an off-field incident resulted in him pleading guilty to assault. He also ran into trouble shortly after transferring to Ole Miss, as he was arrested for disorderly conduct in January 2015 following an incident outside an Oxford bar.
In 2016, the NFL instituted a new policy that bars Combine participation by players who have misdemeanor or felony convictions for violence, sexual assault, domestic violence or the use of a weapon.
