Vikings allow late touchdown to lose 29-27 at Detroit, the Lions first victory

DETROIT — Jared Goff threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown as time expired to beat the Vikings 29-27 on Sunday for the Lions' first win in a year.

The Vikings took a 27-23 lead when Kirk Cousins hit Justin Jefferson for a touchdown with just under two minutes left.

The Lions, with no timeouts, then drove down the field and to get to fourth and 2 from the 11 with four seconds left when Goff threw the game-winner.

The Lions (1-10-1) had no wins in 15 games, dating back to Dec. 6, 2020.
