Before the 2020 free agency period even began, most assumed Trae Waynes would not be re-signing with the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings expressed an interest in potentially bringing back Waynes, but they knew that he was likely going to cost much more than they were willing to pay. Well, after he signed a three-year, $42 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals last week, he was clearly out of Minnesota’s price range.
So after spending his first five seasons in the NFL with the Vikings, Waynes is set to begin a new journey in 2020 with the Bengals.
