Sunday’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals was never viewed as one that would be an extremely tough battle for the Minnesota Vikings. And just like many thought, the Vikings did what was necessary to defeat the Cardinals this week and earned their third win of the 2018 season.
It wasn’t a “must-win” game for Minnesota, but it was a victory that certainly seemed necessary. Now on a two-game win streak, the Vikings appear to have their season heading on the right track after a bit of a rough start to the year.
Against Arizona on Sunday, Minnesota performed well in all three phases.
