A press release from Minnesota United on Tuesday announced that the club would be parting ways with President Nick Rogers. Rogers took the position in 2013 and was instrumental in the club’s MLS bid and eventual expansion.

Rogers departure coincides with the club’s hiring of CEO Chris Wright at the end of the 2017 season. Wright had been serving as the president of basketball operations with the Minnesota Timberwolves and stepped in to lead the Loons in marketing and team operations in early October. The club announced that they would not be filling the President position.
