We already took a look at what needs to be done in order for the Minnesota Timberwolves to make the playoffs last week.
Now, it’s time to do a complete 180-degree turn and look at why they definitely won’t make the postseason.
Let’s face it, the Wolves don’t have an easy task by playing in the Western Conference. Travel challenges aside, Minnesota is in the deepest conference, and it isn’t close. If they were the Eastern Conference, this would be a much different discussion.
The most likely teams to make the playoffs in the West include the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz.
