Tuesday Cup of Canis

For numerous reasons, this has been a brutal NBA season. The shortened offseason, combined with Covid issues and injuries to many of the league’s biggest stars has made for one of the most unusual season in recent memory.

We’re less than three weeks away from the beginning of the NBA Playoffs, and last season’s conference finalists currently sit 3rd (Nuggets), 5th (Lakers), 6th (Heat), and 7th (Celtics) in their respective conferences. On top of that, the most high-powered team in the league and current betting favorite to win the title (Nets), have played just just seven games with their three superstars (Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, James Harden) together, and it’s unlikely that they’ll add to that total before the playoffs begin.
