Giannis Antetokounmpo confirmed as 2020 All-Star captain

Stage one of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s year of the repeat has officially been completed.

With the Milwaukee Bucks superstar also on track to earn MVP honors again this season, on Thursday night he was officially confirmed as the Eastern Conference’s leader in All-Star votes for the second consecutive year.

Of course, that also means that Antetokounmpo will again take his place as a team captain, in what will be a rematch for him against a team captained by LeBron James, when the 2020 All-Star Game takes place in Chicago’s United Center on February 16.

Overall, this makes for Antetokounmpo’s fourth All-Star appearance.
