Brewers ride early surge to 7-game win streak

KANSAS CITY -- Travis Shaw hit a three-run homer and Lorenzo Cain homered in his Kansas City return as the Brewers won their seventh straight -- 5-2 over the Royals on Tuesday night.

Milwaukee jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the third with some clutch two-out offense. Ryan Braun's RBI single that opened the scoring was a wicked shot off the right foot of Royals starter Ian Kennedy. After taking a few warmup tosses, Kennedy stayed in and Shaw promptly delivered three-run shot to right-center that traveled a projected 437 feet, according to Statcast™.
