Brett Anderson scratched from start against Cubs, Brent Suter to start for Brewers

Brett Anderson saw a late start to his shortened season due to an injury, and it appears as though he’s dealing with another.

In his daily pre-game call with reporters, Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Brett Anderson will be scratched from his scheduled start tonight against the Chicago Cubs due to hip tightness.

Brent Suter will take his place at the start of the game, likely meaning Saturday night is now a bullpen game for the Brewers.

The Brewers have scratched Brett Anderson with a tight right hip.
