MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee senior pitcher has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All District 3 First Team for his combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
The son of Lori and Billy Ring, is one of two pitchers to be named to the District 3 First Team and one of 16 pitchers nationally to be honored. District 3 includes all of Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia.
By earning a spot on the All-District first team, Ring will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected.
