John Beilein's tenure as coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers is over.

The former Michigan basketball coach has resigned, according to a report.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski wrote Tuesday night that Beilein is expected to depart after talking with staff and players Wednesday.

According to Wojnarowski, associate head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will replace Beilein.

Beilein, 67, will finish 14-40 with Cleveland.

The longtime college head coach left the Wolverines in May for Cleveland, ending his 12-year tenure in Ann Arbor.
