Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly kicked four players off his football team Tuesday, including one the Irish's top receiving threats and a running back who surely would have had a larger role next season.
Wide receiver Kevin Stepherson, defensive tackle Brandon Tiassum, and running backs Deon McIntosh and C.J. Holmes all have been dismissed.
Stepherson, McIntosh and Holmes all were suspended for the Citrus Bowl.
