New NFL mock drafts have Michigan's Maurice Hurst headed to Lions, Chargers

Could Michigan's All-American defensive tackle Maurice Hurst land with the Lions?

That's what one NFL draft prognosticator says in the latest batch of mock drafts released.

CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso predicts the 6-foot-2, 280-pound Hurst will be selected No. 20 overall by Detroit, which is reportedly trying to lure the defensive-minded Matt Patricia to be its next head coach.

"The Lions stay close to home with the Michigan product," Trapasso writes. "Hurst could've entered the 2017 NFL draft, and he probably would've gotten picked in one of the first three rounds. Instead, he stayed in school and fine-tuned his game.
