Michigan opens as early TD favorite vs. MSU

The Michigan football team will enter Saturday's in-state showdown with rival Michigan State as the favorite.

The sixth-ranked Wolverines, riding a six-game winning streak and No. 6 ranking in this week's AP Top 25 poll, opened as touchdown favorites Sunday in Las Vegas, according to VegasInsider.com.

Caesars properties in the resort town were listing Michigan -7 at its sports books ahead of Saturday afternoon's game in East Lansing (noon, FOX). Other casinos had not yet reported their lines, though gambling website BetOnline.ag is advertising Michigan -6 1/2.

Bovada has not yet listed its line either.
