Michigan football's Cesar Ruiz is forgoing his senior season for the NFL draft.
The junior center announced his decision via Twitter on Friday afternoon, two days after the Wolverines' 35-16 loss to Alabama in the Citrus Bowl.
"I would like to start off by giving all praise and glory to the most high for blessing me with the opportunities that I've been granted," Ruiz wrote in a statement. "Also, I would like to thank the University of Michigan for helping craft me into the man that I am today. It is truly an honor to be able to wear the maize and blue.
