Over the years, Michigan football has had one of the best defenses year in and year out in college football. Under Don Brown, the Wolverines have been particularly impressive, however, the struggles against Ohio State and other elite teams remain.
Much of the blame has fallen on the offense for not doing enough to shoulder the load in recent years and some of that is certainly true.
