Michigan Football clobbers Nebraska in Big Ten opener

Michigan Football (3-1) defeated the Nebraska Corn Huskers (0-3) 56-10 in its Big Ten opener this afternoon. It was a blowout from the start and Jim Harbaugh was able to empty the depth chart in the second half.

Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez threw a pick to Josh Metellus on their first drive of the game and the rest was history. Michigan was up 20-0 after an impressive rushing performance in the first quarter. Seven different Wolverines carried the ball today for a total of 285 yards and four touchdowns.

Karan Higdon led the way with 136 rushing yards, and fullback Ben Mason tallied three touchdowns runs from inside the five yard line.
