Over the past two seasons, Chase Winovich proved himself to be a dominant player with Michigan football and that dominance got him selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft.
Winovich went to the New England Patriots, the defending Super Bowl champs and a team famous for having another former Michigan football alum, Tom Brady, as its quarterback.
But after two preseason games, it looks like the Patriots found another former Wolverine gem, as Winovich stood out against the Tennessee Titans, following a solid performance at Detroit.
In that first game, Winovich notched a sack and opened some eyes.
