Well, Week 3 had plenty of drama, upsets and unanswered questions. Vanderbilt upset Kansas State, Northern Illinois upset Nebraska, Mississippi State beat the cornbread stuffing out of LSU, and Memphis proved it had the grit to take down UCLA and Josh Rosen.
Oh, and Michigan got by Air Force in a game that has been called “sluggish,” “painfully boring,” “uninspired,” and “frustrating.” The usually optimistic Detroit Free Press put it this way:
“Runs didn’t work. An awkward flip pass over a defender didn’t work. A short pass in the flat didn’t work. A fade in the right corner didn’t work.
