Michigan cracks Baseball America's ‘Field of 64’ projections

Michigan’s massive 20-game winning streak has the Wolverines atop the Big Ten standings, and in the conversation for a spot in the NCAA tournament.

Michigan (24-11) cracked Baseball America’s Projected Field of 64 on Wednesday, where it’s slotted to play in a regional in Clemson, S.C.

Baseball America has Michigan in a four-team pod with host Clemson, Georgia and North Carolina-Greensboro.

The Wolverines haven’t lost a game since March 14 to NAIA school Lawrence Tech. That loss began a turnaround, however, which includes an 11-0 start in Big Ten play, good for a two-game cushion over Minnesota in conference race.
