Michigan builds huge lead, holds on at Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. -- Leaving the Kohl Center with a victory has not been easy for Michigan. Sunday, the Wolverines jumped on Wisconsin early, led by 22 at half, and won 83-72 despite a big second-half run by the home team.

It was just Michigan's second win -- against 13 losses -- in Madison since 2000.

Michigan led 58-35 with 12 minutes left when Wisconsin went on a 12-0 run to cut the margin to 11 with 8:52 remaining. A 3-pointer by Wisconsin's Aleem Ford with 2:37 left cut the deficit to eight, the first time it was within 11 since the opening minutes.
