Michigan basketball has one final chance to make an impression on the NCAA selection committee in the regular season and it comes Saturday morning against Maryland.
For a while this season, Michigan basketball was on the bubble. But the win over Michigan State, as well as the win over Ohio State ended that. The Wolverines will be a part of March Madness, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be motivated for the regular-season finale.
The Wolverines can not only score a quadrant 1 over the Terps, who are a top-70 team in the RPI, but UM might also be able to sneak into fourth place in the final Big Ten standings, clinching the double bye in the conference tournament.
