Michigan basketball knows coronavirus could affect NCAA tournament

Michigan basketball is already well aware of the coronavirus outbreak — and coach Juwan Howard plans to sit down with his players later today to discuss further preventative measures as the Wolverines prepare to travel for postseason play.

“Because now I’ve recognized by listening to a lot of the media outlets — I was always, ‘Well, maybe this thing is kind of overblown,' " Howard said. "But I heard this today, the Ivy League, they’re cancelling their conference (tournament).
