Michigan basketball head coach Juwan Howard has been pursuing a different kind of player at power forward and he continued that this week with an offer to four-star Jaemyn Brakefield.
While John Beilein usually preferred power forwards that fit into the mold of a stretch four, Howard has taken a bit of a different tactic, recruiting tough, athletic players with shooting seeming to be less of a priority.
The Wolverines were a finalist for one such player this week in four-star power forward Terrance Williams, who ultimately committed to Georgetown over Michigan and Notre Dame.
