David DeJulius could barely speak.
Less than an hour after Michigan basketball's devastating 64-62 loss to Illinois at Crisler Center, DeJulius met with reporters and had to discuss an even tougher subject: The status of Isaiah Livers.
With a voice thickened by emotion, DeJulius tried to describe his team's reaction when Livers suffered an injury early in the second half.
“It just took the air out," a close-to-tears DeJulius said, speaking deliberately.
