One of John Beilein's first jobs was a social studies teacher at Newfane (New York) High School, where he also served as the AV director and JV basketball coach. He began filming his team and saw how it helped them improve.
"Ever since then, I have been an incredible film watcher," Beilein says as part of a feature that first aired on CBS Sports Network Wednesday night.
In the 30-minute program, titled "Men of March," Michigan's head men's basketball coach is interviewed by U-M alum Tracy Wolfson at his Ann Arbor home, discussing his early career and coaching philosophy.
