No. 19 Michigan beat Rutgers 20-13 to improve to 4-0 on the season, but Michigan is far from satisfied following the victory.
Michigan’s passing attack was performing well in the first half, Cade McNamara had 156 yards passing. However, things took a negative turn after halftime and McNamara threw for just 7 yards.
Michigan had four three-and-outs to start the second half, something that put Michigan’s defense in a tough spot.
“Off running the ball or throwing the ball, we struggled a little bit to get that first first down in the second half, and I think that’s what led to the struggle,” McNamara said.
